Fellowship Programme

Qura 6-month Fellowship Program in Fetal Imaging

Qura’s 6-month fetal fellowship program has been tailored to enable a carefully selected group of radiologists to advance their fetal medicine skills, with a particular emphasis on obtaining and analyzing high-quality prenatal ultrasound studies. Upon successful completion of the program, participants are awarded a radiology fellowship in India certification from Qura Diagnostic and Research Center, recognizing their achievement in the field of radiology.

Our fetal fellowship program provides an opportunity for fellows to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, interacting directly with patients, clinicians, and allied health specialists to deliver the highest quality of care. This program also places a strong emphasis on their ability to effectively communicate imaging findings and management plans, with the expectation that they will display a high level of proficiency in this regard.

The initial phase of our fetal fellowship program is centered on developing expertise in obtaining high-quality images and conducting ultrasound examinations of the fetus, which can assist in diagnosing fetal anomalies. Subsequently, fellows are expected to review studies conducted by ultrasound technologists, and provide guidance to ensure that appropriate image sets are obtained for complex pregnancies.

In addition, Dr. Somya Dwivedi, a certified MD in Radiodiagnosis and FMF and ISUOG, will supervise this comprehensive program for radiology fellowship in India. Drawing on her extensive academic background, certifications, and experience, she specializes in screening for pre-eclampsia and fetal abnormalities, conducting NT/NB scans, managing Fetal ECHO cases, and performing Fetal interventions.
